PET FIRST AID CERTIFICATE COURSE

The PET FIRST AID CERTIFICATE COURSE involves 10 hours of “in class” instruction. It is designed to provide the pet lover/pet provider the necessary information and skills to stabilize an injured animal until qualified veterinarian care is accessed.

The Pet First Aid course is offered to the community for all to attend but can also be offered to your specific corporation.

EMPHASIS IN THE PET FIRST AID COURSE IS PLACED ON

• Prevention of illness
• Prevention of injury
• Restraining an injured animal
• The importance of early veterinary care
